The Importance of working with a CEPA

The Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) is the most widely accepted and endorsed professional exit planning program in the world.

Developed by nationally experts in the field of exit planning , this 5 day executive MBA style program is taught by a faculty of nationally recognized experts in their respective fields. The CEPA program offers professionals an innovative learning experience, performance-enhanced resources, and the strategic tools to help them advance their exit planning practice. Using an executive MBA style format, the program is designed around a central case study and uses a combination of lectures, group discussions, case studies and individual exercises to introduce business advisors to concepts an to reinforce skills.

To receive the CEPA designation participants must complete a rigorous 5 day program that involves 100 hours of pre-course study material, 33 hours of class room instruction, and successful completion of a 3.5 hour proctored exam,

Vincent Mastrovito CEPA, CBEC

Vincent, is the founder and president of Prometis Partners, he began his career in 1989 providing wealth management services. After two decades with Lincoln Financial Group, Vincent decided to become an independent advisor. During his years with his own firm Vincent found his true passion in working closely with business-owners on exit planning strategies and developed Prometis Partners to pursue his dream.

Vincent has successfully completed advanced education through the Exit Planning Institute, Value Builder program and Pinnacle Equity Solutions that focus their education and training on how to best help business owners successfully transition out of their business.

Vincent has successfully transferred or positioned many business for their transition to the next generation.

Vincent is a national speaker on exit planning. He also conducts business owner round tables to discuss the issues that they face and how to best approach their situation

Professional Biography

James D. Miller is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Global Management Accountant practicing in public accounting in Sterling Heights, Michigan. James’ practice concentrates on tax planning and preparation for individuals, corporations and partnerships, federal and state tax audits, business advisory and CFO services.  James graduated from Walsh College in 1995, with a Bachelors of Business Administration and in 2001 with a Maser of Science in Finance.

James is a member of the following professional organizations:, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)

John T. Carter CM&AA, CExP

 
 

John is the founding member of “ITG” and is dedicated to helping business owners implement solutions for transitioning out of their business on their terms.

As an attorney, M&A advisor and exit planner, John helps owners prepare their business for any internal transfer or external sale by implementing the necessary tools and techniques which allow them to successfully transfer their business to family members, key employees, co-owners or outside buyers.

John has over 25 years of experience handling commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and family and key employee succession plans. He’s an active member of the Michigan Bar Association, the Detroit chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, the National Alliance of Mergers and Acquisitions and Business Enterprise Institute. He is a guest lecturer at various family business and industry associations including the Michigan Manufactures Association, the Construction Association of Michigan, the Association of Certified Public Accountants and other Michigan based industry action groups. He also works with various non-profit organizations which support Michigan’s advanced technology and human and health services.

John lives in Oakland County with his wife, two daughters and two German shorthair pointers. He’s is devoted to his faith in god and loves the great outdoors- especially hunting, fishing and organic gardening.
